Free and Easy…..

Crosby, Still and Nash said it that way in 1969… Free and Easy! It makes you want to go back… Free and Easy… I guess it is something about old music, it takes you to places. That one may before my time, but then again it has always been me. When I was in HS I always said I was a man out of time… 20 Years to late!

My father’s music and interests were mine to be had. WWII, 60’s music, politics, and my views on race are all my Dad’s… Kind of weird I guess, but true. I have refined a few, but he is a big influence. He doesn’t know it I don’t think, but he taught me it is OK to cry as a man, if it matters. He taught me 2 kinds of people in the world to be predudiced against, "assholes and idiots" and you have to prove to me you are one of those. He also said that there are 2 kinds of music, good and bad (i.e. rap sucks, but have you heard “Gangsters Paradise”? On the other hand, My Sharona was #1 for 6 weeks, but it is pop crap…).

So what does this mean for all of you that are reading this? I am not sure yet… I think that this a is a blog of discovery… A place to learn about me… I can tell you that I will lay it all out some times. A few poignant moments here and there. Just enough to get you talking I hope.

Just remember, it is just my thoughts and I am not going to change the world… Yet…
